Teaching History:
8 years as an elementary classroom teacher. Currently, I am on maternity leave from my grade three position at Terry Fox Elementary, with plans to return to work in February 2011. I have completed four of six semesters towards my Graduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching with Technology.
Favourite Technology:
iPhone, iPod Nano, Pages, Keynote, Blogger, Netvibes, the internet, Google, and RSS Feeds.
Favourite Movies:
Toy Story 3, because I love watching how much son loves it. He just celebrated his 5th birthday and received a Buzz Lightyear toy. My husband asked him if he wanted his name on the bottom of Buzz's foot and he replied, "No I want you to write, Andy!"
I also enjoyed Eat, Pray, Love. It was my first adult movie viewed at the theatre in awhile and I watched it with some wonderful friends, all of which contribute to my love of it, but the reminder of the need for balance in ones life was needed and for that I will always have a place in my list of favourites for this movie.
Favourite TV Shows:
The Office, Chuck, and Parenthood - I love shows that make me lol.
Favourite Indulgences:
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Americano Misto, Brookside Dark Chocolate Almonds, Kit Kat Chunky, anything from J&B's Candy Shop, and Birchwood Dairy's Coffee Crunch Ice Cream...yummy!!
